Welcome from Breia Wood
Hello all, my name is Breia Wood and I am a certified make-up artist, MT & bodyworker and Psych-K Facilitator. I'm also a self-professed "personal development junkie" sometimes working under the pseudonym, mshomewardbound.
I took the name, Homeward Bound, from a book of poetry written by mother who writes under the pseudonym J.K.B. In the introduction she explains that “we are all bound for things greater than what we are doing. To become better people than whom we appear to be right now. My belief is that we all are on the same path, attempting to arrive at the same location, from different roads in our own time” and that “we are all traveling in the passageway leading us home toward our own divinity, to our Divine Father. We as a populace are “Homeward Bound.” and all of our individual and collective thoughts, experiences and actions dictate how long we travel this path until we reach our desired destination, until we are finished wandering, until we find our way and are again welcomed HOME.”
I truly believe that this is true, maybe because I was raised by the woman who wrote it, lol. Nonetheless, I know that each of us are on a journey and that even though our paths maybe different, our destination is still the same. Regardless of all our differences and everything that separates us, I know that we all ultimately want the same things for our lives and for our families. Hopefully here we can all connect with other like minded individuals. Together, we can help to inspire, inform and provide resources to help make each journey a wonderful and enjoyable one.
I discovered Compass from a friend's posting on facebook. I then signed up for the webinar and was intrigued by the thought of being able to help women. This is exactly the type of work I was aspiring to do, and it was such a blessing to discover Compass, and be able to use it as a vessel to offer affordable life coaching to anyone that wants it.
I also aspire to someday be a life coach and it's nice to already be able to offer my coaching services even though I'm personally not yet a coach.
I have been described as a natural "healer", as I love helping other people and my primary goal is to help other women "live on purpose" and live happier, more fulfilling lives.
