For over twenty five years I have been in relationship sales. This included, cold calling, outside sales and network marketing. I was very fortunate because I believed in what I sold and had a passion for the products that I would sell to others. After many years in the Corporate world I felt myself being pulled to be my own boss, where I could plan my schedule and vacations around my family and not my boss. I came to the detour of either sinking more money into my company and hiring more employees or ending it on a high note, which is exactly what I did. As life is always changing, my mother got ill and our daughter had a serious surgery with a very long recovery. It was at this time that I stopped doing everything business related and took care of my family. I had six months to be 'still' and really ask myself some hard questions about who I am, where did I lose myself and what was my passion? What was really lacking was, what is my purpose? I always was in the throe of things and never stopped to ask myself. During that time I bought book after book trying to find out what really makes me tick. Still I was stuck and frustrated. I was introduced to Compass and I signed up as a client and worked on the MAP, Define What Drives You. During that month of listening to that MAP I was uncovering things I did not even realize about myself.
When I was done it was very clear to me what I wanted. I wanted to become a Compass Representative and a Transformational Life Coach and that is just what I did. I get to be part of a cutting edge business, empower women, have my own schedule, and believe in what I am doing for others. Most of all, I have the passion and Compass has given me back my purpose which is what I have been seeking for so long. Now when people ask me how did I decide to Rep this company? I say, I believe in the MAPS, the Compass Mission and the love of empowering as many women and teens that we touch everyday by just sharing and listening to what their missing link might be.
