My entire life has led me to where I am today. I grew up in Oklahoma. I barely survived being burned when I was six years old. I have a severely epileptic sister and a brother who struggles with addiction. I've watched my parents suffer for 50 years sharing their childrens' pain. I went to the University of Oklahoma where I met my husband of 37 years. We have three grown daughters and three grandchildren who are the light of my life. We owned businesses (that employed upwards of 50 people) our entire adult life. I've always been the one who my family and friends have come to with their problems. I've told people what to do to get out of debt, how to lose weight, how to mangage their career, how to grieve, how to communicate their feelings, how to face their fears and on and on. The problem, though, is that my advice was just that. It did nothing to help them stop the recurrence of the same problems over and over. I only gave them a fish. I didn't teach them how to fish. My lucky day was when someone introduced me to Compass. That's the day I started learning how to teach people to fish...how to see, own, live and be the changes they desire. And because of that, I'm more alive today than I've ever been. I truly believe I'm now doing what I was born to do...and I've got the skills for doing it. My work is to help women uncover the truths that are already within them for how to live their best life. My clients have...lost weight, stopped smoking, gotten off various drug therapies, upgraded their jobs, improved their relationships, grown their circle of friends, gotten out of debt, found their passion and purpose and increased their energy! Compass helps me navigate my world while I help others navigate theirs. It is a part of me. It is who I am.
