My goal is to show up as my true self and support others in doing the same. We all have unique gifts to share. No need to imitate anyone else!
I love learning with my students. It is such a joy to be on a path of constant growth and development. The coach approach belongs everywhere!
About Me
We can become so busy looking for approval, doing our best not to create upsets, and taking care of others while neglecting ourselves that we lose touch with our own inner wisdom. In addition, many aspects of daily life subtly train us to fit in with everyone else rather than stand out as our unique selves. Just as it was when we were in school, we often turn to others to tell us what we need to know, relying on them to answer our most important questions.
The distinguishing feature of my coaching and teaching is empowerment of the voice deep inside us, the one that always knows what is best. Those external influences and distractions make it difficult to hear its gentle message much less trust this true source of inner guidance. My ultimate goal is to provide others with the tools they need to be their OWN authorities and live authentically as the amazing one-of-a-kind persons they were born to be.
I passed my certification exam through the International Association of Coaching (IAC) in June, 2007. This was a deeply personal goal I'd set for myself because I wanted to be tested according to the late Thomas Leonard's coaching proficiencies before the IAC shifted to a new set of masteries in 2008.
All of a sudden, I found myself volunteering to coach live with other coaches listening and providing feedback. This process pulled me out of my comfort zone and taught me the power of being 100% fully present with my clients moment to moment. It also created the opportunity for me to serve as a Mentor Coach at the School of Coaching Mastery.
I absolutely LOVE being at the forefront of brand new, creative ventures that are aligned with my deepest values. That is why I’m so excited about this opportunity to serve on the Founding Team as a Compass Coaching Leader. Besides getting to make a great living doing work I am thrilled and excited to do, I am part of an incredibly supportive community that spans across the globe, enabling us to touch one another, bring out our individual greatness, and make the world a better place one person at a time.
