I started off as a straight A honor student and star athlete. Who would have thought that by the time I was a sophomore in highschool that I would be a mom? Definitely not me!

Having a child at such a young age, as well as raising him as a single parent has certainly had its ups and downs. Nevertheless, by never giving up on myself and my dreams, I was able to graduate from high school on time and continue on to college, not leaving my child behind.

I believe that the only true obstacle that a person has is themselves, and once they have overcome that, even the sky is not the limit!
